The Small Print

This site is owned and run by The Pulham Orchestra, a charitable organisation of around thirty instrumentalists. The organisation is run by the membership and unpaid supporters but employs a professional Conductor and Musical Director.

The content of this website seeks to reflect the aims and ethos of the organisation but does not act as its voice. It is under the control of a website editor who is a member of the Committee.

This website seeks to serve and reflect the membership but it should not be assumed that all the views expressed are those held collectively by the organisation itself.

This website would not have been possible without the drive, enthusiam and expertise of a lot of people to whom we are indebted.

Whose idea this was, I am not entirely sure - I suspect it was a decision of the committee, nevertheless I need to thank my wife for raising her hand when someone asked "Does anyone know anyone who knows anything about websites?" From such are projects born. Little did she realise that she would not see her husband for the next few weeks and I thank her for her patience and support.

Dr Diana Samson has co-ordinated the work with the committee and my thanks go to her for her valuable role as Website Editor. Clare Barclay has also provided invaluable comments and helped to shape the product you see before you.

The design and structure of the site is based loosely on some original work by Mr Ben Carpenter MA (www.bencarpenter.co.uk) who has continued to act as mentor and technical advisor.

Unless otherwise acknowledged, copyright for any items on this site is owned by The Pulham Orchestra and Mr Andrew Carpenter, jointly. Initially enquiries should be directed to the website editor, Dr Diana Samson, or to Mr A Carpenter.

The closeup pictures of instruments with shadows and the three buttons are held under paid licence from www.istockphotos.com. Names of authors and individual copyright holders are available from them. The photographs of events in Cotton and Pennoyers are held by Mr John Herschel-Shorland who will know the copyright holders. The Southwold photographs are owned by the author.
